Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dari tanggal 17 Oktober hingga tanggal 23 Oktober 2021. National Essay Competition DEMA FST 2021 mengangkat tema Kontribusi Generasi Muda dalam Pengembangan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi menuju Indonesia Emas 2045. Kegiatan ini diikut 42 peserta yang mewakili universitasnya masing-masing.
