Namun, tak jarang pula media yang justru menekankan pemberitaan kepada &#8220;pahlawan&#8221; disabilitas dibanding terfokus terhadap penyandang disabilitasnya langsung serta keaktifan mereka dalam lingkungan bermasyarakat, sehingga tujuan dalam memberikan ruang untuk bersuaran pun bergeser. Berangkat dari permasalah tersebut, maka dalam rangka memperingati HUT LPM untan ke-XXIII mengadakan Webinar Nasional bertajuk &#8220;Bagaimana Media Memberitakan Kelompok Difabel&#8221; pada Sabtu, 23 April 2022 dengan mengundang pemateri yang luar biasa dari Ketua Aliansi Jurnalistik Indonesia 2022 dan salah satu staf media\/redaktur solider.
