Kegiatan yang berpesertakan tujuh anggota baru LPM Mimbaruntan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi jurnalistik bagi para anggota, yaitu mencakup pemahaman manajemen isu, <em>Indepth<\/em> <em>News<\/em>, <em>Feature<\/em> <em>News\u00a0<\/em>dan Video Jurnalistik. Pemateri yang dihadirkan dalam kegiatan ini diantaranya berasal dari Ikatan Jurnalis Televisi Indonesia (IJTI) dan Aliansi Jurnalis Independen (AJI).
