Kebutuhan akan darah yang aman dan memadai terus meningkat seiring dengan bertambahnya kasus medis yang memerlukan transfusi darah. Sayangnya, persediaan darah di Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) sering kali tidak mencukupi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut. Sebagai bentuk kepedulian terhadap kemanusiaan, Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) Fakultas Hukum Universitas Tanjungpura mengadakan kegiatan donor darah sebagai wujud kontribusi nyata dalam membantu sesama.
