Pada tahun 2019, kegiatan ini mengusung tema besar berupa &#8220;Born to be a Hero of Mathematics and Science&#8221; dengan tema LKTI berupa &#8220;Pengembangan Matematika dalam Sains, Teknologi, dan Industri untuk Mewujudkan Indonesia yang Mandiri&#8221;. Lomba tersebut dimulai dengan tahapan abstrak, pengumpulan full paper, dan terakhir tahap presentasi 10 karya dengan nilai tertinggi.
